BeeGreen Landscaping was founded out of a lifelong connection to nature, a strong work ethic, and a belief that landscaping could be done better. From an early age, Ed was immersed in hands-on work—gardening alongside his mother, taking on small jobs with his uncle before he was even of working age, and learning the fundamentals of running a business through his father’s sign company. These early experiences shaped his appreciation for hard work, accountability, and building something with purpose.

As his career developed, Ed gained experience across many areas of the landscaping industry, from working at a landscape supply depot to joining maintenance crews as a labourer. This practical foundation was strengthened by earning an advanced diploma in Landscape Design from Fanshawe College. Seeking broader experience, Ed moved to Toronto and joined a large landscaping firm, where he progressed from an entry-level role to foreman and eventually operations manager.

Along the way, one lesson stood out above all others: great work is only possible with a great team. BeeGreen is built around skilled, dependable people who take pride in their craft and care about the quality of what they leave behind. Investing in the right team—through training, support, and respect—ensures consistency, accountability, and results clients can trust.

Throughout his journey, it became increasingly clear that too many companies prioritized speed and profit over craftsmanship, sustainability, and genuine customer care. BeeGreen Landscaping was created as a response to that gap.
